Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026

This policy explains what information is handled when you read puremassage.com, what the operator does with it and what choices you have. The operator is the person or organisation running Puremassage, and the words we and us refer to the operator.

Visit logs

The servers that deliver our pages keep routine logs. An entry can include your IP address, the time of the visit, the page requested, your browser and device type, and the page that referred you. We use this to keep the site working, to spot errors and abuse, and to see in broad terms whether readers favour articles on massage therapy, London spas or training.

Cookies and similar technology

Puremassage may use cookies or comparable storage. Some keep pages working. Others, where enabled, count audiences, remember a preference, support advertising or record that a visitor arrived from our page at a spa, course provider or product retailer, which is known as affiliate attribution. Cookies placed by third parties are governed by those parties’ own notices.

Controls in your browser

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, browse privately, or use tools that limit tracking. If your browser sends a do-not-track or global privacy signal, we treat it as an opt-out request wherever the tools we use allow. If you switch off every cookie, a spa map or an embedded video may stop loading.

Emails and forms

If you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you include. We read it to reply, to fix an article if you spotted a problem and to remember what was already discussed. Please do not include health details about yourself or clients; we do not need them to answer a question about a spa or a course. We do not sell messages and will not publish one without asking you.

Newsletters

If a newsletter or sign-up form is offered, what you enter is used to send what you asked for. Every issue will explain how to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us by email to remove you.

Outside services

A site like this relies on outside providers. These may include hosting and delivery networks, analytics tools, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded content such as videos or maps of spa locations. They may receive technical information about your visit so their service can function, and they handle it under their own policies.

How long information is kept

Server logs are kept for a limited period, then deleted or reduced to anonymous totals. Emails are kept while they are useful for replying, making a correction or meeting a legal duty, and are then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent you gave. To make a request, email [email protected] and say what you would like. We may need to confirm your identity first and will respond within the time the law sets.

Children

Puremassage is written for adults interested in massage, spa visits and professional training. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete the message.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information, such as secure connections and restricted access to the inbox. No online storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data in other countries, where the rules may differ from those where you live. By using the site you accept that information may travel in this way.

Changes to this policy

If our handling of visitor data changes, for example by adding a new analytics tool or a spa booking embed, this page will be updated to match. The effective date above shows when the current version began, and continuing to read Puremassage after an update means you accept it.

Complaints and consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything done before. Our Cookie Policy page sets out which cookies are used and how to change your mind about them. If you live in the EU, EEA or UK you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office); in Australia, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
